Welding Important Safety Problem

Welding is a fabrication process in which various materials, usually metals or thermoplastics, can be joined by liquefying the area in which joints occur. The method of welding is often done by using a combination of heat and pressure to melt the materials being joined together with fillers, such as welding rod, to form a pool of liquid substrate (also known as puddle weld), which is then allowed to cool to create a strong joint. Weld is a dangerous process, which is mainly used as industrial applications, but becomes more common with home DIY enthusiast. Weld can be achieved in various forms and use various sources of energy including gas flame, electric arc, laser, friction, ultra-sound and an electric beam. Any individual requiring special methods of its own set of welding equipment supplies. However, basic weld applications require the use of some common equipment supplies, such as electricity, electrodes, rods and arc welding, shielding gas, and a protective mask or helmet.
